Cinnamon Honey Crepe Dessert


Guilt Free- Low Fat, Gluten free, sugar free, egg free dessert. Perfect Ayurvedic dessert- balanced and whole. All you gym frequenting, weight and calorie watching folks- you gonna love this.

Preparation time: 20 mins
Soaking Crepe ingredients- 2-3 hrs
Ingredients
Crepe:
1 cup rice
1/4 cup coconut
Pinch salt
1 tbsp Sugar- Optional- I did not add any sugar

Topping:
Honey
Cinnamon powder
Fried and crushed Nuts (optional)- Fry about 1 tbsp Cashew, almonds & any nut of your choice (avoid peanuts)

Crepe:

  1. Soak raw rice for 2-3 hours in about 3 cups water
  2. Drain water from the rice.
  3. Add the coconut to the rice and grind it to very fine paste. (while grinding you can add water)
  4. Now pour water (if required) so that the consistency would be something like thin chocolate sauce- it should be runny. 
  5. Heat non stick pan. When very hot pour in a ladle of the crepe mixture and swirl the pan around to distribute it equally around. Should form a circular/oval thin layer.
  6. Let it cook for 30 seconds.
  7. Crepe is ready.
  8. Remove the crepe and fold it. Top with about 1/2 tspn honey and drizzle with cinnamon powder. Make sure you don't overload with both honey and/or cinnamon.
  9. Serve with ice cream of your choice!

If you prefer indulging- serve with ice cream topped with chocolate sauce. Oh! to die for!!!!!
